I've been back from my trip to Uganda for a few weeks now. After reflecting, I just feel more and more thankful for how amazing the trip was. Our prayers were definitely answered in multiple ways. God definitely gave me wisdom when preparing for the trip. The gear I brought worked very well and the camera rig was perfect for the challenging conditions we knew we were going to have to film in. Going into the trip, I was only on the hook for shooting for a ten minute video. However, I decided to try shooting for a feature length documentary given that I was going to be there anyway. As the trip went along, I quickly got a sense that a feature length documentary would be possible. After discussing with Tony, we have decided to pursue producing a full film. Pray that we get connected to the right partners to see this dream fulfilled! Below is a sneak peak at the footage.

On a personal level, the trip was such confirmation of my calling towards media missions. There is no more fulfilling work than doing what you feel you were made to do. Bridging the gap between Media and Missions continues to be the path God has laid before me. Praise God!
